Bio

My start as a songwriter and musician happened in Louisiana in the last century. There, I watched, learned, and played with the living practitioners of the revolutionary sounds that crawled out of the swamps and became the bedrock of American music.

For years thereafter, I honed my craft as a songwriter on the Gulf Coast touring, as well as my work in recording studios.

Later, opportunity called, and I moved north to Georgia and continued performing, recording, and songwriting in Atlanta and Nashville. Along the way, I logged thousands of hours in studios, and years on the road, performing alongside the great and small, from Texas to New York.

I’ve contributed to many projects as a guitarist, singer and writer all of which laid the foundation and helped shape my current recording.

During the 90s, I pursued other interests, however I never abandoned writing and recording.

My goal is to artfully present roots music, that tells stories, paints emotions, has a certain groove, and most importantly, where the song is king. Now, I’m back “knockin’ at your door” I hope you will give a listen.
